We’re really please to announce that 11 of our students have applied for, been interviewed and agreed their Agency Life Internships beginning end of September 2013. This is great news and shows how hard our students and Agency Life internship employers have been working.
Right now we have 31 firms signed up to provide Agency Life internships to what we hope will eventually be around 70 second year students from our Marketing Management, Advertising & Brand Management, PR & Digital Comms and Retail Marketing programmes.
Early adopter and long time friend of the Agency Life concept, Manual Link Building, have already chosen and agreed their 3 students for next year taking Advertising & Brand Management Students James Taylor and Ashleigh Winter along with PR & Digital student Jade Payton
Avin Wong at WhichSocial.com has chosen Danielle Mason as one of his interns from our Marketing Management programme.
Bath Henderson from our PR & Digital Programme is going to be starting with Guy Levine’s team at Return on Digital and Justin Butcher (Beth’s Internship Manager) had this to say:
“We are delighted to have found an Agency Life intern so quickly and after the first interview. Beth showed real initiative by contacting me directly and demonstrated in her initial email that she had read about the company, understood our culture and that it was something she wanted to be a part of. At interview stage Beth showed two qualities which we value very highly at Return On Digital; a great attitude and a willingness to learn. We look forward to welcoming her on board.” WOW!
Our friends at 3 Door Digital have been busy choosing marketing student Charlotte Fryer as well as Advertising/Brand students Jo McGrann and Michael Scott to work with them, whilst Local Business Partners have been doing some serious interviewing and have chosen Aiden Jervis to help with the client-side marketing work.
Agency Life old friends I-COM have chosen their first intern for the coming year in the form of Marketing student Kate Murray and Monocore have chosen marketing student Harriet Shuttleworth to join them this Autumn as they expand their retail offering with Saints and Slimmers.
But it’s not over yet – there’s plenty more firms who are about to join our MMU Agency Life programme and about 50 bright and enthusiastic students who looking for the best match of their talent and a company experience. David is also sitting on a panel at this week’s big SASCon event (being held here at MMU) and talking to people how Agency Life can help you find new talent. There’s plenty of time to get involved and a tonne of enthusiastic talent that you one day be a big benefit to you and your company.
